The mini-brewery was founded in 2003 in the village of Hukvaldy, in the local part of Dolní Sklenov. It is a small family brewery with annual sales of c. 30-50 hl of yeasty beer, which is produced by use of one sediment technology using solely Czech raw material.
The beer is not treated anyhow, so it contains all important elements, including B vitamin, which are eliminated by filtration and pasteurization in big industrial plants.
The beer has mild turbidity and specific taste. It is produced at Hukvaldská 12 and currently the first batch of porter has been prepared.
The brewery is located in the premises of the pub, where almost the whole output is consumed. The production continues old traditions of the former Hukvaldy brewery, which was founded in 1597 and operated until 1972. Open all year round, without possibility of serving hot meals.
