The Chateau Frydlant v Cechach

shows interesting in conjuction with medieval castle and Renaissance chateau. It is one of the most meaningful historical monuments in Czech Republic.The history castle went back to a half of 13th.century. Albrecht from Valdstejn influenced meaningful his history - he was a diplomat, statesman and expressive personage of 30 Years War.Only some parts were saved from the original form of Gothic castle. It kept only parts of bulky structures and big cylindrical tower. Chateau's areal got Renaissance form on the break of 16th. and 17th. century. Dynasty Clam-Gallas opened to public chateau's space for first time in 1801. Today you can see collections of china and glass, furniture and chateau's equipment in chateau. A large arms set from times of Hussite's War to 19th. century is interesting as well as chateau's gallery picture with works of art Baroque masters or unique pipes' collection.
