The young carpenter lives with his parents on a farm in Seč-Hoješín and works here in his workshop. Even though the family comes from the town of Český Brod, they fell in love with the Iron Mountains landscape and moved there and later on bought a farm and have been working there till today. Currently, owning a larger and smaller farm where Daniel tries to use his knowledge from studying at the agricultural school.

He inherited his passion for wood from his grandfather who was also a carpenter and a floor maker. From an early age, he worked with the tools and machines left behind at home and enjoyed it in-deed. Therefore, after studying at the secondary agricultural school, he chose the field of carpentry to further improve his skills.

Daniel Jirásek is the author of wooden structures with a unique system of folding and disassem-bling. He created the first garden-raised bed for his mother. The special wood structures are widely used not only for raised flower beds but also for sandpits, garden houses, water tank cladding, etc. The parts are also provided with special impregnation against insects, mold and paint with a UV stabilizer.

The producer can use the Iron Mountains regional product certificate from autumn certification in 2023.

He believes in the quality of his work. He mainly processes spruce wood from his forest, but any quality wood can be used for production. Later on, he plants new trees to ensure the greenery renewal for future generations.
